Redondo Union CA sophomore Christoph Waligorski won the Bay League 3-mile boys varsity title in 14:46.3 at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach, Calif. Waligorski, who finished fifth last season, became the first Redondo Union male athlete to capture the title since Ethan Comeaux won two in a row in 2015-16, which followed Carlos Suarez in 2014. Redondo Union took third with 57 points, just behind runner-up Palos Verdes with 56 points.
